Happy Thanksgiving!

So, the family is on their way here. Soon the turkey will be in the oven and the side dishes cooking. The parade will be on in the morning. It's going to be great! I love Thanksgiving! Between the family coming to spend a few days with me, good food, the parade, football games, shopping at 2 am, seeing GG and the kids, and birthday celebrations, the next couple of days have definite potential. I'm stoked!

I've been sick pretty much the last week and a half, but before that I went to Little Rock to see Wicked!...twice! It was absolutely amazing. I love that show. I have been on a Wicked! high for the last two and a half weeks, and it doesn't seem to be letting up. I've been listening to the soundtrack non-stop, watching youtube videos of different performances, and making random references throughout the day. It's really quite pathetic, but I can't help myself. Seeing a traveling company perform it just made me realize how amazing it must have been while Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel were doing it on Broadway. I'm a little jealous I never got to see them. It must have been mind-blowing.

Okay, enough about Wicked! Well, not really, I could go on, but I won't.

I don't have any new pictures, so I'll share another Halloween one.

The verse for tonight is a Psalm of Thanksgiving...fitting I thought.

A Psalm for Thanksgiving.
Shout joyfully to the LORD, all the earth.
Serve the LORD with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful singing.
Know that the LORD Himself is God;
It is He who has made us, and not we ourselves;
We are His people and the sheep of His pasture.
Enter His gates with thanksgiving
And His courts with praise
Give thanks to Him, bless His name.
For the LORD is good;
His lovingkindness is everlasting
And His faithfulness to all generations.

Psalm 100

I wish everyone a wonderful holiday with your family and friends. Enjoy your time together and be Thankful for the many blessings in your life. I know I am!

~Love Always
